Hello and welcome to my portfolio! I'm Ben Whitney, a digital media creative from Kansas City currently living in Sugar Land, Texas.
My interest in digital media started in high school. Since then, I've continued to learn and improve through each project I take on.
I have experience in videography, photography, video editing, and motion graphics. I've worked with the Adobe Suite for many years, frequently utilizing Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere.
Since mid-2022, I've worked as a media producer at KJO Media in Westwood, Kansas. I've done video editing and motion graphics work for clients in a variety of industries, including construction, education, and insurance.
In January 2024, I began work at The Noble Group as their marketing consultant.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science: Mass Media degree from Northwest Missouri State University. I won awards at both the state and international levels for my video work.

"Ben is a wonderful communicator! He always made sure that he clearly understood what I wanted as a final product. He consistently met the deadlines that I had established for the work. I enjoyed working with a professional that provided a quality product for a fair price. I will continue to use his services in the future and would highly recommend him to others."
-Laurie Winter, Owner of Language & Literacy Consulting, Inc.
"Ben has created several videos that we have been using to build awareness of and market our non profit. He is always on time and well prepared for each video session and communicates well during the production time. I really valued Ben's attention to detail and how he listened carefully to our desired outcome. He was able to clearly get our mission and message across into a well edited video that we are proud to share with our community and donors."
-Brenda Mott, ScrapsKC Founder & Executive Director
"Ben was professional, knowledgeable and a terrific team player. He excelled at shooting and editing video and podcasts and was good at troubleshooting challenges as they arose, whether it was in pre-production planning or during a recording. Ben is collaborative and has a chill, can-do attitude. Not only was I impressed with his skills and creativity, so were our internal clients who recognized him for a job well done. I would be very happy to work with Ben again."
